How do I tune my guitar with Achordy?
Simply open the Guitar Tuner mode, pluck a string, and watch the visual indicator. When the needle is centered and turns green, your string is perfectly tuned. The frequency display shows exact Hz values for precision tuning.
Why isn't the tuner detecting my instrument?
Make sure your device's microphone isn't blocked and you're in a relatively quiet environment. The tuner works best when you're 6-12 inches away from your instrument. Check that microphone permissions are enabled for Achordy.
How do I change the metronome tempo?
Tap the BPM display to open the tempo selector, or use the + and - buttons to adjust. You can set any tempo from 40 to 200 BPM. Swipe left/right on the tempo display for quick adjustments.
Can I use Achordy without internet?
Yes! Achordy works completely offline. All tuning and metronome functions work without any internet connection, making it perfect for practice sessions anywhere.
How do the rhythm games work?
Rhythm games help you develop perfect timing. Start with easy levels and tap along to the beat. Your score is based on timing accuracy. Progress through levels to unlock more challenging rhythms.
Is Achordy compatible with electric instruments?
Absolutely! Achordy works with both acoustic and electric instruments. For electric instruments, you can use the built-in pickups or play through an amplifier for the tuner to detect.
